Casa Portuguesa Restaurant, Baga:
The menu has changed slightly over the years. Francisco started
the restaurant by introducing traditional Goan food, such
as Chicken Xacutti and Supportel, but now chooses to restrict
the menu to mainly Portuguese food with a few Goan overtones.
This makes for a successful formula, which has been found
to work. The interior of the old house is strictly non-smoking.
However, the four tables on the verandah (shown left), and
the large garden to the front and west of the house are available
to smokers. The menu covers a broad spectrum of tastes, but
our skilled chefs are happy to make minor adjustments to suit
the individual
